Supporting Gay Pride

June, Gay pride month. Even though I am not gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender I still feel the need to support gay rights. I told my mum that it was gay pride month and I was celebrating it and she looked at me funny. We need less people like her (even though I love my mum and I wish she'd be here more..) and more people like me. I don't get what the big deal is. Some people like the same gender, some people have the same gander and some people like both genders. It's doesn't make them weird. It's just who they are. They are still human and should have the same rights as everyone.
I don't understand why people think all gay people are perverts and sissy douche bags. I don't know about you but I think they have so much courage and strength. If you don't like gay people then think about this,
How would you like it if you were shamed for being who you are. How would you like it if you got teased everyday for being the way you were born. How would you like being treated like a freak.
Everybody, lets celebrate diversity and stop bullying. Let's all make a new future and change the world.
We can make a difference, all you have to do is stand up.
